Wow a fair bit of news here but a sad lack of pictures...hence:

So I'll be brief :)
The new exchangers arrived at school...Flora from Hungary, Barbara from Mexico and a boy from Chile ( My memory is quite appalling!)
Oh and Case Ives from the USA...
A new taste of finnish culture for me:
Finnish baseball!
I saw my first official game with Case, Iina ( a friend of mine) and the mayor of Hyvinkää...
and HYVINKÄÄ WON!! They also won their final so it's only the grand final left
I now go every sunday to play floorball with the other finns...terrific fun they're all good players and my fitness levels have never been better...except when playing the ridiculously tiring sport of water polo...
A couple of exchange students stayed the night at my host parents place and I showed them the sights of hyvinkää...a canadian girl from imatra and a US boy from helsinki...good fun!
I went recently to see pablo francisco a famous standup comic...A tad vulgar for my taste but had his moments...the finnish comedians were better :)
Oh and I almost forgot: Sports day at school was amazing!!
I played:
Boule
Volleyball
Volleyball
but there was also soccer and frisbee
oh and Yugigasse (a snowball fight with soft balls...SOOO FUN!)
we actually ended up playing the teachers! and we won! heh heh heh... sooooo fun!!!
oh dear...and then there was the hiking course...that was a bit of a fiasco...
lost my raincoat...just before it started raining and one of the students injured themselves near the end...but it all worked out well in the end!
But I'm having an awesome time and will go sometime soon to teach some finns how to throw a boomerang! should be great :D:D

Here we have the juggling master Versus his host brother the professional engineer in a challenge as to who can build the highest nacho food tower with household ingredients and eat it... the winner...all the spectators when mine spectacularly collapsed!
My best friend came from London to meet the finns and me on a delightful summers day...it was quite the good at the beach...
