Hello all!
First thing: I would prefer if you read this post in reverse order: the pictures are in reverse chronological order and a greater understanding can be delved in reverse. To increase your confusion and my entertainment I shall right the conclusion at the end where you start...
Have fun!
CONCLUSION
(go to the bottom before reading this)
Well I'm having terrific fun and I'm actually enjoying the language...
An important note to all: No speeding in finland...A friend of my host dad got fined €180000 for 108 in an 80 zone... not good...
so drive safely or enjoy the leniency in australia
hope you enjoyed

P.S. It's a bug...no idea at all what kind it is...

A weird building with some kind of use for some kind of people...it's old...must be good...

Okay I was just trying for a nice picture...from the pier of my host grandparents...

Haha...a finnish beach...there is humour value in the lack of waves...

But this was nice...A famous location in finland apparently...I really enjoyed the view...you could see almost to russia from there...

Another nice forest nearby to the summer cottage...we went hiking through it...by then I was a bit bored...mainly because I was so tired

Okay I stood in front of the oldest rock in the world...1.8 billion years...the lines are from waves when it was deep under the sea...I also tripped and fell on it at one point...

And inside...Host dad in the corner

Ah yes I thought this was an excellent night shot of the lake next to my host family's summer cottage...very beautiful place

And most of the same friends...it was a great social time...On the bus I ate three lunches when you're meant to eat one but all is good...it was free after all...

And a beautiful, warm...well it wasn't warm, it was actually bloody freezing...spring day

This is the ghost which haunts the castle...his name's Ali...no more need be said...

This is another church and a decent picture...It was in this church that I was permitted to play the piano and sing at the same time...as a result of this error by me I was asked to sing and play again at the spring school party this friday...I grudgingly accepted...

And some more of them... we're in the basement of a church

Me with my finnish school friends on a new day when we went on a school trip to see churches and mansions...it wasn't too bad...

Okay that's weird...I published the same photo twice...anyway...

Okay I admit it: this was bloody beautiful...Helsinki by evening

This is us (my host family) about to leave early and me a little bit annoyed coz I wanted to stay much longer...oh well...

Well I had to leave the sports day early to go to a wedding...It was quite fun...that's me...and the wedding venue is behind me...

hahahaha...oh dear...okay that's me covered in biscuit crumbs after eating almost a whole pack of dry biscuits with a litle help from my team in a time trial...The shirt has a message in finnish which translates to "God forgives, I don't"...I like it...

A finnish barbecue...t'was good and at midnight it was someone's 18th birthday so there was later a party in the sauna when the teachers were gone...it was fun...

Okay again much humour value...we kept throwing the frisbee onto the roof so the frenchman would have to get it...very very fun...(there is a ladder so don't worry it wasn't that cruel)..

Ah yes...another beautiful pictures of being lost...it was fun...

Okay this photo is hilarious because the person who took it was some kind of hobo...And I thought he was a teacher otherwise I wouldn't have let him hold my camera...and then he poured some kind of solvent on the fire...Judging by what I smelt on him I don't think sprite was in his sprite bottle...

Okay a group of people who I don't know the names of...Iina is at the front (the one not wearing blue)...the others you've seen before or I've forgotten them...Oh and we were lost...

Me in the process of missing a target...shooting is an amazingly fun sport...I mastered it later at my host family's summer cottage...

Moahahaha...this is what the finns call a lizard...Dead centre of the picture and hard to see...They really should introduce a few species there...There was a snake too but I missed it...

Ah yes the darts throwing checkpoint, each group scored as many points as they could and the darts were soooooooo dodgy... but it was good: Pekka (teacher), Vinnie (frenchman) and Jussi (friend)

This is the start of a long and tiring sports class where we went hiking all day...From the left: Kertoo, Vili and me...

Okay these are just for humour value...three cars parked in the same area all the same make of car and all...VOLVOS! I was thrilled...

The best view from the top of the tower...I have way too many photos to show but yes it's a beautiful place...

This was absolutely amazing to climb this castle tower thing...Okay my english is stuffed, but I don't need it anymore...33m high and too much staircase...

And This is where the humouristic attitude of the finnish people comes in: It is indeed a rat imprisoned for stealing too much cheese...

This is another area of h
ämeenlinna. It was until 1993 a jail and there were many prisoners' writings on the wall. Hmm...somehow I remember feeling really sick....don't know why... aaanyway

This is a view of h
ämeenlinna from the air. I was so high up it looked like a model...
Okay This is me
visiting hämeenlinna. T'was my third enjoyable visit to a finnish fort. It was indeed strange that the bridge I'm standing on in the picture smelt like tennis balls... you know that new smell they have...really strange, I hope someone can explain why to me...
